Artist Statement:
I am a storyteller who sculpts ideas through design, movement, and written word. My work centers on curiosity and exploration, working to develop a unique language for every project. The process begins with an inquiry or hypothesis. I collect research and dramaturgical evidence to build a shared vocabulary between myself and other collaborators.
As a designer, I will sketch and source materials to sculpt the visual language.
As a performer, sculpting is done with the body and sound, in a container of time and space.
As a writer, the relationship between character and dialogue is my sculptural tool.
No matter the method, communicating an idea is the intention of my work and makes the audience just as curious as I am.
